FameEX Security Settings Overview

1. Email 

Log in to yourFameEX account, click the “Account Center” icon in the upper right corner of the page, find “Email” under the “Security” section, and click “Change” to modify your email address.

For the security of your account, withdrawals are disabled within 24 hours after changing your email address. Please be aware of the funds in your account.

2. Phone

Log in to your FameEX account, click the “Account Center” icon in the upper right corner of the page, find “Phone” under the “Security” section, and click “Bind”or “Change” to link or update your phone number.

3. Google Authenticator

Google Authenticator is a dynamic password tool with stability, convenience, and security features. Its working principle is similar to SMS dynamic verification. After binding, a dynamic verification code is generated every 30 seconds, which can be used for operations such as login, withdrawals, and modifying security settings.

Log in to your FameEX account, click the “Account Center” icon in the upper right corner of the page, find “Google Authenticator” under the “Security” section, and click “Enable”, “Change”, or “Disable” to set your Google Authenticator.

4. Login Password

It is recommended that you change the login password every three months.

Log in to your FameEX account, click the “Account Center” icon in the upper right corner of the page, find “Login Password” under the “Security” section, and click “Change” to modify your login password.

5. Anti-Phishing Code

An anti-phishing code is a string of characters created by a user. After setting the anti-phishing code, every email sent to you by FameEX will carry this string of characters to help you quickly identify fake FameEX websites or emails. For account security, FameEX recommends that you change the anti-phishing code regularly. The length of the anti-phishing code must be 4-20 characters containing at least 1 letter and 1 digit. Please note that the anti-phishing code and login password must be different.

Log in to your FameEX account, click the “Account Center” icon in the upper right corner of the page, find “Anti-phishing code”under the “Security” section, and click “Enable” to modify your anti-phishing code.

6. Withdrawal Security

It is used to manage the security withdrawal address, allowing users to add, edit, or remove them. Once added, no verification is required for withdrawal to the security address. Each account can add up to 20 security addresses, and each coin can have up to 4 addresses. The same security address cannot be added repeatedly. The remark of the security address cannot exceed 10 characters and cannot be the same as the remark of other security addresses.

Log in to your FameEX account, click the “Account Center” icon in the upper right corner of the page, find “Withdrawal security”under the “Security” section, and click “View” to manage your security withdrawal addresses.

Kindly be aware that any errors in the security address information may result in the permanent loss of assets. Therefore, please operate with caution!

7. Device Management

It facilitates actions such as trusting, distrusting, blocking, or unblocking the logged-in device. When logging in with a trusted device, you can enter your account without the verification steps. Conversely, if a device is blocked, logging in using that device is not permitted.

Log in to your FameEX account, click the “Account Center” icon in the upper right corner of the page, find “Device Management”under the “Security” section, and click “Manage” to manage your login devices.

8. Security Log

Your login logs and security operation logs will be kept by the system.

Log in to your FameEX account, click the “Account Center” icon in the upper right corner of the page, find “Security log”under the “Security” section, and click “View” to track security logs.

Note: It is recommended to enable multiple security settings to better protect your assets!
