Cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have been a significant force in the ETF market in 2024, with 13 of the 25 largest ETF launches by year-to-date inflows, according to Nate Geraci, president of The ETF Store, an investment adviser specializing in ETFs. Among the approximately 400 new ETFs introduced this year, the four biggest by inflows have all been spot Bitcoin ETFs.
New Poll Reveals Crypto Holders Are More Likely to Back Trump
A new Fairleigh Dickinson University poll shows that cryptocurrency holders are more likely to support Trump over Vice President Harris in a potential election matchup. Half of crypto holders favor Trump, while 38% back Harris. Among non-crypto owners, Harris leads by 12 points, with 53% supporting her and 41% favoring Trump.

Corporate adoption of Bitcoin has seen a dramatic rise in 2024, according to a new report from River, a U.S.-based financial services company specializing in Bitcoin. As of August 2024, businesses collectively hold 683,332 Bitcoin (BTC), accounting for 3.3% of the total Bitcoin supply. This marks a significant 587% increase in corporate Bitcoin holdings since 2020. U.S.-based companies represent 49.3% of these holdings, equivalent to $19.7 billion. Major corporations like Microstrategy and Tether dominate this landscape, with both companies making up 85% of corporate Bitcoin acquisitions in the first half of 2024.

Standard Chartered Bank Forecasts Bitcoin Price to Reach New High by Late 2024
Geoff Kendrick, head of foreign exchange and digital asset research at Standard Chartered Bank, predicts in his latest report that Bitcoin prices will reach new highs by the end of 2024, regardless of the U.S. presidential election outcome. He forecasts Bitcoin could hit $125,000 if Trump wins and $75,000 if Harris is elected.
